Abstract:
Provided is a water-soluble film which is inhibited from curling and which, when used in forming a package, is less apt to have a positional alignment and shows satisfactory sealability, and which gives a package having excellent appearance properties. The water-soluble film includes a poly(vinyl alcohol)-based resin (A) as a main component. When the water-soluble film is floated on the surface of 20°C water for 60 seconds, the ratio of the transverse-direction (TD) degree of elongation (XTD) to the machine-direction (MD) degree of elongation (XMD), XTD/XMD, is 1.05-1.5.
