Description:
WATER TANK CONFIGURATION IN CORROSION AND POLISHING MACHINES

Technical Field

The present invention is a water tank structure positioned under the counter in corrosion and polishing machines and relates to transition of dense puddle coming from a multi-processed area between the gradual labyrinths by coming to the tank in the form of a labyrinth, and settlement of the sludge by extending the path taken by the water.

The present invention relates to preventing the failure of the circulation pump due to sludge, while the water is fed back to the system after the sludge has settled by extending the path of the water passing between the gradual labyrinths.

Prior Art

Corrosion and polishing machines consist of a body, a motor in the body, a shaft that is connected to the motor on both sides and rotates with the motor movement, discs that are connected to the shafts and used for polishing, shaping, polishing, and similar processes. The rotation speed of the discs is adjusted according to the speed ranges that change in accordance with the operations to be performed. This speed range adjustment is provided by the potentiometer (wheel button) positioned on the machine. There are coatings suitable for the process to be performed on said discs. Plurality of ring- shaped discs, which have emery thereon and which perform shaping with emery diamonds can be connected to these shafts for shaping.

In the state of the art, while shaping, polishing, cleaning, polishing and similar processes are carried out, it is necessary to cool the discs since the surfaces on the discs may warm, wear, burn, and similar problems over time depending on the length of use may occur. In the state of the art, in order to prevent these damages, a bucket is placed under the counter where the machine is located, water is placed inside the bucket, and the water drawn from the bucket by a pump is carried by means of a hose. While the carried water is being processed in the corrosion and polishing machine, it is positioned on both sides of the machine such that it is coming from under the discs, and water is poured. Alternatively, there are systems with one valve, one hose, and one water pouring head for each disc, thereby allowing the discs to be wetted. The water used in these techniques is drawn from a bucket with the aid of a pump and transferred as it is used. Since the water drawn from the bucket by the pump will be sludgy after the processes, it causes the water-carrying hoses to become clogged. It is not possible to manually clean water hoses, which are hard by nature.

In the bucket system, which is among the state of the art, pumps that are more powerful and consuming more electricity are utilized to draw water. These buckets are used due to placing corrosion and polishing machines on a table, placing the bucket under this table, and using a pump with a head of at least one meter in order to draw water due to the distance between them. A lot of electricity is consumed due to this situation.

Problems in the state of the art necessitated an R.&D study in the relevant field.

Objects of the Invention

The subject of the invention is the water tank structure that is connected under the counter in the corrosion and polishing machines, and it is aimed to prevent the failure of the circulation pump due to the sludgy of the water due to the processes performed while the water coming to the water gun is fed back to the system.

The present invention aims to make the water move for re-feeding the water and settling sludge of the water coming to the tank by resting it in a tank with at least two partitions by gradual labyrinths in the tank pathway, and it aims to feed the water back to the system by saving electricity by using pumps that consume less electricity. Detailed Description of the Invention

The figures of the water tank configuration used in the corrosion and polishing machines are as follows;

Figure - 1 illustrates the assembled view of water tank in corrosion and polishing machines.

Figure - 2 illustrates the top-side perspective view of the water tank.

Figure - 3 illustrates the detailed general view of the water tank.

Water is drawn into the system by means of a pump while cutting, shaping, drilling and similar operations are carried out in corrosion and polishing machines, and water is poured over the treated disc from the watering heads. By means of this poured water, the heating on the surfaces of the discs is prevented, the discs are cooled, and a longer physical life is provided. In the corrosion and polishing machines of the present invention, by means of the ergonomically structured water tank (6) that can be come under the machine an is solid, and that can be hidden under the machine, it is ensured that the water is fed back. (Figure 1)

While cutting, shaping, drilling, and similar operations are performed in the corrosion and polishing machine positioned on the tank cover (3) the water reaching the water tank (6) to feed back to the system turns into sludge. The water applied and turns into sludge during the process passes over the left drain (1), which is seen in Figure - 2, and which is opened on the tank cover (3) of the water tank (6), and it is poured into the labyrinth Part E (4), which is one of the water tank's (6) inner sections. Said labyrinth sections are separated from each other by partitions (7). There is a water transition nest (5) on the partitions (7), which facilitates the passage between said partitions (7) as the water level rises. As water fills into the labyrinth part E (4), the water passes over the water transition nest (5) and comes to the labyrinth part D (4.1), after the labyrinth part D (4.1) is filled, it again passes through the water transition nest (5) and comes to the labyrinth part C (4.2), and from there, the water passes again to labyrinth part B (4.3) in the same way. By means of the water tank (6) with partitions, which is the subject of the invention, the path taken by the puddle in the tank is extended and the sludge is provided to settle, therefore, the water fed back to the system is returned clearer and sludge-free by a pump located in labyrinth part A (4.4). (Figure 3)

In bucket systems in the state of the art, the bucket placed under the table is spilled due to an error during the process and due to the fact that the pumps used for the water fed back to the system are pumps that increase the electricity consumption, which can flood at least one meter of water since the corrosion and polishing machine placed on the table can be more than one meter from the bucket. In addition, circulation pumps fail due to the increase in sludge in the bucket.

By means of the fact that the inventive water tank (6) is immediately connected to the bottom of the machine, Electricity is saved by using pumps with a much lower head instead of the pumps that had to be used in the state of the art since the water level of the water tank (6) has decreased to a value of at least 20 cm. By means of the prevention of sludge in the system, the physical life of the circulation pump is also extended.

While a pump in labyrinth part A (4.4) draws water into the system with a hose connected to the pump and a hose valve, water goes to the hoses on both sides of the pump valve and the water returned to the system in order to pour water to the right and left reaches the irrigation heads that pour the water down through the valve. Since polishing and similar processes that cause less sludge are generally carried out on the right of the system, the water used during the process passes through the right drain (2) located on the tank cover (3). The water passing through the right drain (2) is directly poured into the labyrinth part A (4.4) and is recovered.

By means of the inventive water tank (6) with partitions, recovering water is facilitated, and instead of water pumps that consume high electricity, pumps that save energy by consuming less electricity are used. Thus, it is provided electricity savings and the risk of water spillage is eliminated by means of the ergonomic positioning of the water tank (6) under the machine as solid. The right drain (2) and the left drain (1) are positioned in order to extend the path of the water that becomes extremely sludgy as a result of the processes, according to the part where the path is long. By extending the path of the sludgy water, the physical life of the water pump is also extended.
