Abstract:
The present invention relates to a complex water-treatment system that uses granular activated sludge and a membrane bioreactor, and to a water treatment method using the same, wherein the system can effectively remove contaminants contained in raw water through a granulation tank including granular activated sludge, and can perform advanced water treatment for a wastewater reclamation and reusing system by filtering the raw water using a movable membrane provided in the upper part of the granulation tank. The system comprises: an indirect aeration tank for supplying air to enable dissolved oxygen contained in raw water to reach a saturation concentration; a granulation tank having a sludge blanket formed therein, the granulation tank granulating suspended microorganisms contained in the treated water having passed through the indirect aeration tank; and a membrane provided in the upper part of the granulation tank so as to be movable within the granulation tank (200). Accordingly, it is possible to minimize the footprint of the complex water-treatment system, to enhance the efficiency of treating contaminants, such as organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus, and the like, and to minimize installation cost and operating cost, as well as to effectively remove contaminants contained in raw water.
