Abstract:

A waterproof box having enhanced waterproof performance. The waterproof box can be handled more easily and requires a reduced mounting space. When cleaning water impinges on the lower surface (33h) of a first waterproof section (33) for an upper cover (15) and lifts up the upper cover (15), the outer surface (30b) and the inner surface (33g), which are tapered surfaces of the first waterproof sections (30, 33), make contact and engage with each other to close the inlet side of a minute path (27). If water enters the minute path, the water enters a dead-end path (33b), and as a result the force of the water is reduced. Also, the water enters a dead-end path (35a), and as a result the force of the water is reduced. The water, the force of which has been reduced, drops.
