Abstract:
A waterproof connector C disclosed with the present specification has a main unit 11 substantially describing the shape of a rectangular cylinder, and is provided with a terminal (female terminal 10) on which is provided a stabilizer 14 in a mode standing perpendicularly upright from the outer surface of the main unit 11, a housing (female housing 20) on which are formed a plurality of cavities 24 capable of accommodating a terminal, and a block rubber stopper 30 placed at the rear surface of the housing and having formed thereon a plurality of through holes 32 correspondingly with respect to the cavities 24, wherein a rear side compressed part 35 that is compressed in the terminal insertion direction by the stabilizer 14 is provided at the rear end opening edge part of the through hole 32 in a rearward-projecting configuration, and a constitution is adopted such that the front edge part of the stabilizer 14 abuts the projecting end part of the rear side compressed part 35 from the rear across the full height.
