Abstract:
A waterproof monitoring device and a waterproof method therefor. The waterproof monitoring device comprises a monitoring camera body (1), an inner protective shell (2), a waterproof drying component (3), and a water storage heat-dissipation component (5); the inner protective shell (2) is mounted on the outer side of the monitoring camera body (1); two sets of first heat-dissipation grooves (201) are symmetrically formed in the two sides of the inner protective shell (2); the waterproof drying component (3) comprises waterproof boxes (301) correspondingly mounted on the outer sides of the two sets of first heat-dissipation grooves (201), and drying heat-dissipation boxes (302) are slidably provided in the waterproof boxes (301). The waterproof drying component (3) is provided on the outer sides of the heat-dissipation grooves of a monitoring camera housing, such that moisture and air impurities can be prevented from entering the interior of a camera through the heat dissipation grooves when the camera is in rainy weather or in an environment having external humidity greater than or equal to a predetermined value, thereby improving the cleanliness of the camera in a severe environment, reducing the probability that internal elements are damaged by moisture, and also prolonging the service life of the camera.
