Abstract:

Provided is a waterproof plate device making it possible to improve the reliability of the action of a waterproof plate. The invention is provided with: a waterproof plate (16) formed so as to be able to rise from a road surface and halt water in order to prevent a building or the like being flooded from a roadway; a channel-shaped waterproof plate holding pit (14) formed below the road surface so as to be able to accommodate the waterproof plate; a channel-shaped water-collecting pit (13) formed so that water can flow thereinto during flooding; a water-collecting bucket (15) that is a receptacle arranged within the water-collecting pit and is formed so as to be capable of storing water that has flowed into the water-collecting pit and descending into the water-collecting pit under the weight of the stored water; and a transmission mechanism (31) for converting the force by which the water-catching bucket descends into a force by which the waterproof plate rises, the transmission mechanism (31) joining together the waterproof plate and the water-collecting bucket directly or using a mediating member. A water-collecting bucket tilt controlling means (40) for preventing the water-collecting bucket from tilting is provided to the transmission mechanism or water-collecting bucket.
