Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wave power generator using wires for power transmission and having an improved structure so as to enable continuous transmission of wave power regardless of the ebb and flow of waves, and transfer pendulum motion force of a pendulum motion body moored offshore via wire members toward a gearbox provided on land, thereby obtaining wave energy larger than that from coastal waves. The wave power generator using wires for power transmission, according to the present invention, comprises: a floating body provided so as to float on the surface of the water; a frame coupled to the top side of the floating body and of which the upper portion protrudes above the surface of the ocean; the pendulum motion body which is connected to the frame while allowing pendulum motion, and which swings in a pendulum by means of wave power energy transmitted from traveling waves; a mooring means, which is connected to the frame, for supporting the rising/falling movements of the floating body to perform a mooring operation of the frame; a motion force conversion part, which is connected so as to be linked to the pendulum motion of a connection rod connected to the top part of the pendulum motion body, for converting the pendulum motion of the pendulum motion body into rotational force; the gearbox, which is provided on land in proximity to the floating body and is driven by receiving the rotational force of the motion force conversion part via the wire members, for converting the rotational force into continuous rotational force by means of vertical movement of first and second weights, according to a one-way clutch transmission scheme; and a driving force transmission means for transmitting output from the gearbox to a generator.
