Abstract:
A wave rotor-based multi-stage refrigerator mainly comprises a housing (20), a left end cap (19), a right end cap (25), a wave rotor (5), a central shaft (28), a high-pressure air feed nozzle, a medium-pressure air discharge nozzle, and a driving mechanism. The structure of the refrigerator enables a pressurized gas to undergo 2-8 non-steady expansions inside the refrigerator, thereby effectively increasing refrigeration efficiency at a large pressure ratio. In the refrigerator, extension of the structure thereof and a change in an end cap structure realize multiple expansions of a gas inside the refrigerator, thereby realizing multi-stage refrigeration by means of the expansions of the gas. Oscillation tubes provided at two ends of the refrigerator enable the refrigerator to operate normally when a moisture content in a working substance is high.
