Abstract:
To reduce erroneous estimation of a virtual-image wave source and highly accurately estimate the direction of a wave source, this wave-source-direction estimation device is made to comprise: a plurality of input units for acquiring input signals based on waves; a signal selection unit for selecting a plurality of pairs that are each a combination of two input signals from among the plurality of input signals; a relative delay time calculation unit for calculating, as relative delay times, the wave arrival time differences for each direction from a wave source to the sensors that have supplied the two input signals composing each pair; and an integrated estimated direction information calculation unit for generating per-frequency estimated-direction-information for each pair of input signals using the pair of input signals and the relative delay times for the pair, calculating per-frequency contribution rates to the estimated direction information for each wave source direction using the per-frequency estimated-direction-information generated for each pair, using the calculated contribution rates to calculate weightings for each wave source direction that correspond to the similarity of the contribution rates between different pairs, and generating integrated estimated direction information in which the estimated direction information for each pair is weighted.
