Abstract:
This waveguide tube has: a linear dielectric that exhibits a uniform dielectric constant in the longitudinal direction and has the same cross-sectional shape in the longitudinal direction; and a metal layer 53 that is formed of a flexible cylindrical shape and arranged at a position for covering the outer periphery of the dielectric, wherein the dielectric has a first dielectric 51 that is positioned inward in a cross section that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and a second dielectric 52 that has a lower dielectric constant than the first dielectric 51 and that is positioned outward of the first dielectric 51 in the cross section that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, the first dielectric 51 has a cross-sectional shape in which the ratio of a long diameter to a short diameter is constant in the longitudinal direction, and the second dielectric 52 is arranged in a region between the first dielectric 51 and the metal layer 53.
