Abstract:
Provided is a waveguide slot antenna capable of expanding a frequency band, using a simple structure having a pair of conductor protruding sections formed in a pair of side walls. The waveguide slot antenna comprises: first and second conductor layers (11, 12) formed on the lower and upper surfaces, respectively, of a dielectric substrate (10); a pair of side walls (20, 21) constituting the side walls on both sides of a waveguide; a pair of short-circuit walls (24, 25) forming a short-circuit surface facing a first direction (X); and at least two slots (14) provided in the second conductor layer and arranged adjacent along a first direction. At least one pair of conductor protruding sections (22, 23) are formed in each of the pair of side walls, said conductor protruding sections protruding towards the center in a third direction (Y) of the waveguide in the planar view from a second direction (Z). The pair of conductor protruding sections are arranged so as to straddle a prescribed region between two slots in the planar view from the second direction.
