Abstract:
This wavelength conversion device has a phosphor member that has one surface on which excitation light is incident, contains a phosphor that emits fluorescence when excited by the excitation light, and has an uneven structure on the other surface opposite to the one surface, the uneven structure consisting of a plurality of protrusions that is provided in the first direction along the other surface at a period smaller than the peak wavelength of fluorescence, and a plurality of nanoantennas made of metal members disposed on the upper surfaces of the plurality of protrusions.
