Abstract:
A wavelength conversion element according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: a first base material; a second base material that is disposed to oppose the first base material and that has an annular recess, including a plurality of projections which extend from the inner peripheral part toward the outer peripheral part, in the surface opposed to the first base material ; and a fluorescent body layer that fills a first space formed by the first base material and the recess of the second base material.
