Abstract:
A wavelength conversion member which comprises a wavelength conversion layer that contains a phosphor, and the ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrum of which obtained by means of ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy satisfies the requirements (1) and (2) described below. (1) The maximum absorption wavelength of the ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrum for the range of from 530 nm to 640 nm is within the range of from 580 nm to 620 nm. (2) The half-value width of the ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrum comprising the maximum absorption wavelength is 50 nm or less.
