Abstract:
The invention relates to a wear plate assembly. In a rotary mill with an internal armouring system comprising individual armour plates (10), intermediary sole plates (11, 14) are provided in order to fix the aforementioned armour plates (10) to the ferrule. Said sole plates are distinguished by the radius of curvature of the main faces thereof and/or the angle between said main faces. If said sole plates (11, 14) are selected carefully, the same type of armour plates (10) can always be used regardless of the diameter of the mill.
