Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention is a wear-resistant component having a coating layer of a Cr-Ni-based alloy on a base material surface, wherein the composition of a surface layer region extending to a depth of 0.2 mm from the outermost surface of the coating layer includes, in terms of % by mass, more than 40.0% and no more than 65.0% Cr, 0% to 35.0% Fe, 0% to less than 2.0% Mn, and any of (1) through (3) ((1): more than 1.1% and no more than 4.0% C; (2): 0.7% to 3.0% B; and (3): 0.5% to 2.5% C and more than 0% and no more than 20% Nb), the remainder comprising Ni and unavoidable impurities, the Ni content being 15% or greater, and the surface layer region has at least any one of massive Cr carbides, massive Cr borides, and Nb-based carbides.
