Abstract:
The present invention provides a wear resistant steel sheet which has both excellent wear resistance and excellent bending workability over a wide width. A wear resistant steel sheet which has a predetermined component composition, wherein: the volume fraction of martensite from the surface to the depth of 1 mm is 90% or more; the Brinell hardness from the surface to the depth of 1 mm is from 420 to 560 HBW 10/3000; and the hardness difference in the width direction from the surface to the depth of 1 mm, said hardness difference being defined as the Vickers hardness difference between two points that are adjacent to each other at a distance of 10 mm in the sheet width direction, is 30 Hv10 or less.
