Abstract:
Depicted are a method for detecting events of an object by using a wearable device, and a management server for operating same. A wearable device, according to one of the various embodiments of the present invention, is a wearable device that can be worn on a user's body. The wearable device may comprise: a short-range communication module for recognizing a user's body and an object located within a predetermined area; a camera module for shooting an area adjacent to the wearable device so as to generate an image or video related to at least one from among the object and the movement of the user's body; a control unit for determining, on the basis of object information collected through the short-range communication module, whether to activate the camera module; and a communication module for transmitting, to a management server, information on the object recognized by the short-range communication module and the image or video generated by the camera module, wherein the short-range communication module may receive a signal generated by a wireless communication device attached to the object, and the control unit may determine, by analyzing the signal which the short-range communication module receives from the wireless communication device, whether a specific condition is satisfied, and determine, on the basis of the determination, whether to activate the camera module.
