Abstract:
Disclosed are a wearable device for providing a wearing detection function and an operating method of a wearable device. The wearable device may include: a driving module for generating torque applied to a user's body; a leg-driving frame for transferring the torque to a user's leg; a thigh-fastening part connected to the leg-driving frame and fixing the leg-driving frame to the user's leg; a sensor module for acquiring sensor data including motion information of the leg-driving frame; and a control module for controlling the wearable device on the basis of the sensor data. The control module may perform a test to determine whether the wearable device is properly worn on the user's leg. In the test, the control module may control the driving module to generate test torque and determine whether to pass the test on the basis of sensor data acquired after the test torque is generated.
