Abstract:
A wearable electronic device according to one embodiment may comprise: a housing, which includes a first portion mounted on at least a part of the body of a user and having at least a part exposed to the outside in order to receive a touch, and a second portion extending from the first portion and inserted into the external auditory meatus of the user so as to be hidden by the first portion, the first portion comprising a first touch area oriented in a first direction and a second touch area that is adjacent to the first touch area and is arranged at at least a part of a side edge of the first portion oriented in a second direction; a main touch sensor arranged below the first touch area; an auxiliary touch sensor arranged below the second touch area; and a circuit board which is arranged inside the housing, and which includes a processor electrically connected to the main touch sensor and the auxiliary touch sensor so as to control the operation state of the electronic device on the basis of touch information acquired from the main touch sensor and the auxiliary touch sensor. According to the one embodiment, the auxiliary touch sensor can comprise a first auxiliary touch sensor and a second auxiliary touch sensor arranged below the second touch area. According to the one embodiment, the processor can maintain the operation state of the electronic device if the touch sensitivity measured by means of the first auxiliary touch sensor and/or the second auxiliary touch sensor is measured to be a first threshold value or greater. According to the one embodiment, the processor can change the operation state of the electronic device if the touch sensitivity measured by means of the first auxiliary touch sensor and the second auxiliary touch sensor is measured to be less than the first threshold value and the touch sensitivity measured by the main touch sensor is measured to be a second threshold value or greater.
