Abstract:
A method for controlling a wearable electronic device comprises the steps of: receiving a bone conduction signal corresponding to vibration occurring on a user's face through an IMU sensor while the wearable electronic device operates in an ANC mode; recognizing the presence or absence of a user's voice on the basis of the bone conduction signal while the wearable electronic device operates in the ANC mode; controlling the wearable electronic device so as to operate in an operation mode different from the ANC mode when it is recognized that the user's voice is present while the wearable electronic device operates in the ANC mode; recognizing the presence or absence of a user's voice on the basis of the bone conduction signal while the wearable electronic device operates in the different operation mode; controlling the wearable electronic device to return to the ANC mode from the different operation mode when it is recognized that the user's voice is absent for a preset time period on the basis of the bone conduction signal while the wearable electronic device operates in the different operation mode.
