Abstract:

The present invention relates to a weather resistant thermoplastic resin, a thermoplastic resin composition containing the same, and a method for preparing the composition and, more specifically, to: a thermoplastic resin comprising a) a hard core having a refractive index of 1.530-1.590, b) a cross-linked rubber layer encompassing the hard core, having an average layer thickness of 30-80 nm, and formed by polymerizing an alkyl (meth)acrylate compound and a cross-linking agent, and c) a non-cross-linked hard shell encompassing the cross-linked rubber layer, and formed by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyano compound; a thermoplastic resin composition containing the same, and a method for preparing the composition. According to the disclosure, there is an effect of providing: a weather resistant thermoplastic resin having very excellent stiffness and impact resistance, and particularly, surface gloss and colorability; a thermoplastic resin composition containing the same; and a method for preparing the composition.
