Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a Web meeting system in which an arbitrary participant can carry out a confidential conversation at any time with another arbitrary person or persons while listening to the speech of all speakers. [Solution] A Web meeting system wherein, when an arbitrary participant invites another arbitrary participant to participate in a confidential conversation and the invited participant accepts, the voice data of each participant of the confidential conversation is not sent to any destination besides the participants of the confidential conversation. Further, voice data other than that of the participants of the confidential conversation continues to be received, and the playback volume of the said voice data is set to be lower than the playback volume of the voice data of the participants of the confidential conversation.
