The present invention provides a weighing packaging machine (1) capable of completely eliminating the production of nonconforming products that occur due to erroneous application of packaging material while reducing the workload of the operator. The weighing packaging machine is characterized in being provided with: a first storage means (37) for storing data for multiple product items and packaging material data corresponding thereto that have been input in advance; a second storage means (38) for temporarily storing image information such as bar code information and photographs that have been sent by an external portable terminal (100); a web server (39) in which a packaging material registration web application has been loaded; and a control means (36), when the operator obtains and transmits bar code information and image information for packaging material at a location that is at a distance from the external portable terminal (100), for comparing designated specific product item data and the packaging material data therewith and distinguishing whether or not the packaging material is the correct packaging material that conforms to the designated product item.
