Abstract:
A technique is provided which, regardless of the type of shielding gas, can reduce spatter from arc welding on a welded member that is manufactured by arc welding hot-dip galvanized steel sheets. The hot-dip galvanized steel sheets are arc welded while advancing and retracting a welding wire (10), as appropriate, with respect to the welded part, which is formed by contact between said galvanized steel sheets having a prescribed coating weight. During the short-circuiting period, the welding wire (10) is pulled up to a position at which the distance D between the welded part and the tip of the welding wire (10) satisfies a prescribed range corresponding to the diameter R of the welding wire (10).
