Abstract:
This welding detector is provided with a first circuit, a first circuit power supply, and a second circuit. The first circuit is connected to a first line that connects a power supply and a main relay, and a second line that connects a load and the main relay. The first circuit contains a detection element. The first circuit power supply supplies DC power to the first circuit. The second circuit is connected to the first circuit and detects the voltage difference between the first line and the second line. When the main relay has been controlled to change from a closed state to an open state, the first circuit detects welding of the main relay on the basis of whether or not current from the first circuit power supply flowed through the main relay to the detection element. When the main relay has been controlled to change from a closed state to an open state, the second circuit interrupts the first circuit only when there is a voltage difference between the first line and the second line.
