A welding method with easy operation for welding a large cylinder segment. Cutting is performed according to a preset internal diameter of a large cylinder, machining is performed by using a beveller, welding is performed along a longitudinal welding seam, pre-bending and rolling are performed to obtain a cylinder section, and optionally, at least two cylinder sections are combined to form a cylinder segment, and circumferential welding is performed along a circumferential seam; a longitudinal welding seam shrinkage compensation length is reserved by calculation with an empirical formula, and a welding sequence of the circumferential weld is adjusted, thereby controlling welding shrinkage deformation. On the basis of different plate thicknesses, a circumferential welding seam is welded by using a unique welding sequence, thereby ensuring that an inner diameter of a large welded cylinder segment meets size requirements, and effectively controlling inner diameter error of a cylinder segment.
