Abstract:

This welding operation monitoring system is provided with: an imaging device that is disposed on the side opposite of that to which plasma flow is supplied out of the pipe inside and pipe outside for a band shaped steel plate formed into a pipe shape and takes color images that include plasma flow across a V-shaped region; and a welding operation monitoring device for analyzing the state of the welding operation by generating a specified color component image wherein specified color components are extracted from the color images and identifying, on the basis of the V-shaped region displayed in the specified color component image, a V-shaped display region which is a region corresponding to the V-shaped region within the color images.
