Abstract:
Provided is a welding power supply device 10 wherein, provided respectively for inverter circuits 12a, 12b are: input current detection units 13a, 13b which respectively detect input currents of the inverter circuits 12a, 12b; overcurrent determination circuits 30a, 30b which determine the presence/absence of an overcurrent on the basis of whether or not the electric currents detected by the input current detection units 13a, 13b are equal to or greater than a threshold current; and inverter drive circuits 40a, 40b which stop both the inverter circuits 12a, 12b when at least one of the overcurrent determination circuits 30a, 30b has determined that an overcurrent is present. On the basis of the plurality of electric currents detected by the plurality of input current detection units 13a, 13b, a control device 50 determines the presence/absence of an anomaly pertaining to the balance between the plurality of electric currents and, if the control device 50 has been determined that there is an anomaly, the control device 50 stops the inverter circuits 12a, 12b.
