Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a welding rod can be held until the welding rod is used to the end or a minimum part of the welding rod remains, and thus, waste of resources may be prevented, and at the same time, consumption of resources allocated for welding can be minimized. Thus, the unit price of a product can be reduced, which contributes to improving product competitiveness. To this end, an embodiment of the present invention provides a welding rod holder comprising: a holder body having a guide tube embedded therein, the guide tube guiding the movement of a welding rod; a nozzle, through which the welding rod is discharged, at one end of the holder body; a welding rod supply module which is accommodated in the holder body and installed at one end of the guide tube to supply the welding rod; a material sensor which senses whether the welding rod is inserted; a pair of gears which hold and transport the welding rod; and a driving motor which transfers a driving force to the pair of gears.
