Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a wheel which is light in weight and has excellent mechanical strength and a method for manufacturing the same.
[Solution] The present invention is a wheel (100) having: a disc section (20); and a rim section which is provided on a periphery of the disc section (20) continuously and integrally or by assembling and is configured from an outer rim section and an inner rim section vertically arranged on the outer rim section, the wheel (100) which is made of International Alloy Designations 7000 series aluminum alloy. When the wheel (100) is made of International Alloy Designations 7475 aluminum alloy, it is preferable that the wheel (100) is molded by forging. When the wheel (100) is made of International Alloy Designations 7204 aluminum alloy, it is preferable that the wheel (100) is molded by forging or casting.
