Abstract:
The present invention provides a wheelchair accessible evacuation slide, which can not only be used by both regular pedestrians and the weak and elderly, but also used unassisted, and enhances usability by, in particular, controlling the angle and the speed such that a wheelchair slides down in a stable position, and allowing the composition of essential auxiliary attachments for a wheelchair to be minimized, the slide comprising: a slide apparatus having an entry opening positioned at the upper portion, an exit opening spaced apart from the entry opening and positioned at the bottom portion, and an inclined slide body connecting the entry opening and the exit opening; and a driving apparatus which is provided on the slide body, to which the ends of guide support rods provided on a wheelchair are fitted and coupled, and which allows the guide support rods to move in the direction from the entry opening to the exit opening.
