Abstract:
The motions of a smartphone body can be known through sensors embedded in a smartphone. The driving directions of a wheelchair, such as forward, backward, left, and right, can be indicated through the three-dimensional motions of the smartphone body within a three-dimensional space, and the rate of speed of driving and the directional degree of left/right rotation can be manipulated through the size of an angle of rotation, and thus a user can easily drive the wheelchair while comfortably sitting thereon. When using a joystick is difficult or when a wheelchair at a distance is to be driven and when a guardian, instead of a wheelchair user, is to drive a wheelchair, the wheelchair can be very easily and comfortably driven through the motions of a smartphone body. In particular, when a joystick device is mounted on a wheelchair, driving of the wheelchair by means of a smartphone body is used for the purpose of assisting in driving of the wheelchair by means of the joystick device, and thus safety in use can be maximally secured.
