Abstract:
Provided is a wind blocker for an electronic balance that has doors that can open and close automatically and makes it possible to inexpensively configure weighing chambers of different sizes. This wind blocker for an electronic balance comprises front glass (12), doors (11) that compose left and right lateral walls and are automatically opened and closed by being slid in the front-back direction, a ceiling door (13), and a housing (18) that is disposed so as to face the front glass (12) and forms a weighing chamber (S1) together with the front glass (12), doors (11), and ceiling door (13). A body (20) is provided that comprises a suspension mechanism (20d) that extends from the left and right side edge parts of the ceiling of the housing (18) to the left and right side edge parts of the weighing chamber and slidably suspends the doors (11) and a driving means (40) for causing the doors (11) to move forward and backward. A drive source (7) for the driving means (40) is accommodated inside the housing (18). The housing (18) and body (20) are configured so as to be separate components. Substituting the body (20) with a separate body having a different length enables adaptation to a different wind blocker having a weighing chamber of a different length.
