Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a wind power generation device in which tower shadow effects have been reduced. In order to solve the problem, this wind power generation device is provided with a nacelle that includes a generator, blades that are connected to the generator of the nacelle via a shaft and that rotate in response to wind, and a tower that is disposed windward with respect to the blades and that supports the nacelle in the vertical direction. The tower is configured so as to be provided with: a first part of a tubular structure that stands up in the vertical direction from an installation base part of the tower; and a second part that connects the first part to the nacelle and has a draft structure that allows some of the wind from the windward direction to pass through at a position at which the blades and the tower overlap.
