Abstract:
Provided is a wind speed measurement device that has a simple configuration, can be produced inexpensively, and has high measurement precision. The present invention has a fixed-temperature heat generation device 10 comprising a power source Vcc, a positive-characteristic thermistor element 22, a switching element Q1, a comparator element Cmp1, a first negative-characteristic thermistor element 21, a second negative-characteristic thermistor element 32, and a plurality of resistor elements R1-R5. The switching element Q1 repeatedly switches between on and off so as to cause the positive-characteristic thermistor element 22, which is disposed at a wind speed measurement site, to generate heat at a set temperature, and applies a pulse voltage from the power source Vcc to the positive-characteristic thermistor element 22. The wind speed at the wind speed measurement site is calculated on the basis of the waveform of the pulse voltage. A second switch SW2 is added, whereby measurement errors arising due to increases and decreases in the temperature of the wind to be measured are corrected.
