Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wind turbine with a generator, which minimizes limitations on the diameters of constructible generators and is disposed at the front thereof for stably fixing a rotor and the generator to a tower, wherein the wind turbine with a generator disposed at the front thereof comprises: a rotor having a hub formed in the center and a rotation shaft protruded from the back of the hub, and coupled with a plurality of rotor blades outside the hub; a generator for generating electricity and having a housing disposed outside the upper part of the tower behind the rotor and coupled with a stator on the inner surface of a cylindrical body thereof, and a rotator rotatively coupled in the housing for rotating by the rotation of the rotor; and a supporting bracket fixed at the upper end of the tower for integrally fixing the rotor and the generator to the tower. Therefore, the bending rigidity of the rotation shaft is increased, angular velocity at a position where the stator and the rotator of the generator correspond to each other is maximized, and the weight of the entire system is minimized.
