The purpose of the present invention is to provide a winding device with which it is possible to correctly drive the rotation of two string-winding units individually by merely changing the direction of rotation of a handle. The present invention is a winding device (10) in which a second rotary shaft (12) for driving the rotation of a second string winding unit (D2) is disposed coaxially with a first rotary shaft (11) for driving the rotation of a first string winding unit (D1); the winding device (10) being provided with a first gear (G1) coupled to the first rotary shaft (11), a second gear (G2) coupled to the second rotary shaft (12), and a slide gear member (40) disposed between the first and second gears (G1, G2), the slide gear member (40) having third and fourth gears (G3, G4) that mesh in a corresponding manner with the gears (G1, G2); and the winding device (10) being further provided with a handle (50) having a gear housing part (51) in which the first to the fourth gears (G1-G4) can be disposed, an inclined groove (55) formed in the inner surface of the gear housing part (51), and an engaging protrusion (45) formed on the outer surface of the slide gear member (40), the engaging protrusion (45) engaging with the inclined groove (55) and being capable of sliding inside the inclined groove (55).
