Abstract:
The present invention is for manufacturing a winding so that a terminus of a metal wire will not damage other components or the like, without increasing the number of manufacturing steps and with the shortest possible distance from a welded part to a terminus edge, and avoiding manufacture of defective windings. The present invention provides a porous winding (filter 10) in which at least one continuous metal wire 20 is wound into a helical and multilayered shape. In the winding, a terminus 30 (metal wire portion 20n) of the metal wire is resistance spot-welded to another portion (metal wire portion 20m) of the metal wire, and fused at the welded spot. The terminus 30 (metal wire portion 20n) has a molten-solidified part 31n obtained by melting the entirety of the width direction of the metal wire and then solidifying the same.
