Abstract:
The present invention relates to a window formed with a fall-preventing device, and the window formed with a fall-preventing device which is provided is one which does not detract from aesthetic appearances due to a structure in which a safety chain is formed only when the window is open whereas, when the window is shut, the chain is hidden out of sight between window frames. The present invention comprises: a window frame (10) comprising horizontal window-frame members (11) which are provided as a pair spaced apart from each other in parallel at top and bottom, and in at least one of which is formed an integral guide recess (12) in the length direction along which a sash frame moves, and comprising a pair of vertical window-frame members (13) which join the pair of horizontal window-frame members (11) together; a sash frame (20) comprising a pair of horizontal window members (21) which are provided as a pair spaced apart from each other in parallel at top and bottom and which are adapted so as to be able to move slidingly riding on the horizontal window-frame members (11), and comprising a pair of vertical window members (22) which join the pair of horizontal window members (21) together; vertically-provided vertical chain wires (40) which are linked in such a way that one end can be conveyed in a guide recess (12); and horizontally-provided horizontal chain wires (50) which intersect the vertical chain wires (40).
