Abstract:
Disclosed is a window glass assembly, mounted to a window opening (5) by bonding. The window glass assembly comprises a glass body (1) and adhesive tapes (2) fixed on edges of the inner surface of the glass body; the adhesive tapes are made of an elastomer and comprise mounting bending portions (21) protruding from the edges of the glass body, and the cross sectional area of the mounting bending portions increases gradually in a direction away from the glass body so that when mounted, a mounting bending portion close to the glass body end is firstly bent, and after being mounted, the mounting bent portion is fitted on the window opening. The window glass assembly has features of being easy to mount and having a good sealing effect. Also disclosed is a mounting method for a window glass assembly, in which by bending and pressing, when mounting, the mounting bent portion close to the glass body end is bent firstly and after being mounted the mounting bent portion is fitted on the window opening.
