Abstract:
Provided is a window opening and closing system such that it is possible to smoothly swivel a window body from a closed state to an open state and easily open the window body, and smoothly swivel the window body from the open state to the closed state and easily close the window body, without requiring time or labor. A window opening and closing system 10 swivels window bodies 13a, 13b from a closed state to an open state by causing a slider 19 to slide upward from a lower end of a guide line 18 in a vertical direction, causing a pulling chain to operate upward in the vertical direction, and causing first and second rollers to rotate via the rotation of a sprocket engaged with the pulling chain, thus feeding out first and second swiveling chains in one direction. The window opening and closing system 10 swivels the window bodies 13a, 13b from the open position to the closed position by causing the slider 19 to slide downward from an upper end of the guide line 18 in the vertical direction, causing the pulling chain to operate downward in the vertical direction, and causing the first and second rollers to rotate via the rotation of the sprocket, thus drawing the first and second swiveling chains in an other direction.
