Abstract:
A window regulator configured to prevent a carrier plate from coming out of a guide rail by preventing the generation of a force which is applied when the carrier plate and a stopper member collide with each other and which lifts up the carrier plate. A window regulator is configured in such a manner that an impact absorption body is fitted in a fitting recess provided in a carrier plate, said impact absorption body consisting of an elastic member for absorbing an impact caused by a collision between the carrier plate and a stopper member for restricting the position of sliding of the carrier plate, and also in such a manner that a collision surface which is formed on the stopper member and collides with the impact absorption body is tilted to the carrier plate side relative to a plane perpendicular to the direction of the axis of the guide rail in order to force down the impact absorption body to the guide rail side when the collision surface collides with the impact absorption body.
