Abstract:
Provided is a window regulator wherein connection between a window glass and a carrier plate is easy. Disclosed is a window regulator comprising a carrier plate to which a window glass is connected, a rotatably driven drum, a housing for housing the drum, a lifting wire connected at one end to the carrier plate and at the other end to the drum through a direction changing member, and a lowering wire connected at one end to the carrier plate and at the other end to the drum, so that the window glass is moved up and down by winding one wire around the drum and feeding the other wire, wherein the ends of the lifting wire and the lowering wire are respectively secured to wire ends, the wire ends are connected to be rotatable relative to the carrier plate, and the housing is provided with a means for preventing the rotation of the carrier plate so that the carrier plate cannot be rotated when the carrier plate is located at the lower end position.
