Abstract:
Windowpane being used in a place where the culmination altitude of the sun at summer solstice point is ѲS, wherein a diffraction grating is formed in a glass plate and an angle between the lattice face of the diffraction grating and a normal to the plane of the glass plate is between [sin-1(sinѲS/n)+sin-1(1/n)]/2 and [sin-1(sinѲS/n)+90°+sin-1(1/n)]/2 assuming the refractive index of the windowpane is n.
