Abstract:
A wire disconnection sensing device for sensing disconnection of a signal wire of a vibration sensor installed on an internal combustion. The wire disconnection sensing device comprises an acquisition unit configured to acquire a target detection result, which is a result of detection performed by a vibration sensor in a target crank angle range for sensing signal wire disconnection, and a disconnection determination unit configured to perform disconnection determination with respect to the signal wire on the basis of the target detection result. The disconnection determination unit includes a switch control unit configured to perform switching on and off of a switch provided on a shield wire of the vibration sensor, and a determination executing unit configured to determine whether the signal wire is disconnected, on the basis of the target detection result when the shield wire is in open state due to switching off of the switch.
