Abstract:
A wire feed spool stop mechanism for a rebar tying machine having a position-fixing apparatus, comprising a stop component (2) for stopping a wire feed spool (1); a cam mechanism for controlling the movement of the stop component (2); the cam mechanism comprises a cam (4) and a push shaft (5) that are installed on a fixing base (6) and can displace axially; one end of the push shaft (5) abuts the edge of the cam (4) and undergoes a reciprocating movement in step with the changing contour of the cam edge, and the middle of the push shaft (5) is a variable diameter section (53) that abuts one end of the stop component (2), such that the stop component (2) swings back and forth in step with the displacement of the push shaft (5); the cam mechanism implements stopping by means of a position-fixing apparatus, eliminates the inertia of the forward rotation of the cam (4), thereby stopping the cam (4). Rotation is changed into linear reciprocation, and the movement is therefore smooth, thereby eliminating the inertia and preventing the push shaft (5) from being damaged. The position-fixing apparatus ensures the accurate position-fixing of the cam (4), and ensures accurate stopping during reciprocation.
