Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to protect a bend portion of an electric wire in a versatile manner using a protection material having a simple shape. [Solution] A terminal of a wire harness 11 is protected, the wire harness 11 comprising an electric wire bundle 13 to a connector-side terminal of which a connector 14 is connected and which has a bend portion 13a. First, a sheet material 15a is bent vertically to an electric wire lead-out surface 14a of the connector 14, forming an opposing side 31 opposing the electric wire lead-out surface 14a, a side covering portion, and a tip-end protection portion 33 simultaneously. Then, the side covering portion is bent at a back-side surface protection portion formation portion 44, forming a side-surface protection portion 32, a back-side surface protection portion 34, and an extension portion 35 simultaneously. Then, while maintaining the positional relationship of the opposing side 31 to the electric wire lead-out surface 14a, the terminal protection portion 15 is fixed onto the electric wire bundle 13 side, using an adhesive tape or the like. The terminal protection portion 15 is fixed only to the electric wire bundle 13 side and not to the connector 14 side.
