Abstract:
A wireless access system based on a centralized base station comprises a centralized base
station (1) and some remote antenna units (2), which are linked to each other by
an optical fiber link, the centralized base station (1) is used for modulating a
carrier signal and multiplexing it to the light wave, and multiplexing the light wave
to the optical fiber link, the remote antenna units (2) are used for demodulating the
carrier signal after receiving the light wave from the optical fiber link, transmitting
the carrier signal to these covered areas by the transmitting antennas thereof.
A carrier shift method using the wireless access system, comprises the following
steps: the corresponding relationship among the carrier signal, the frequency-shift
frequency, the modulating frequency, the light wave's wavelength and
the optical fiber link are set, the centralized base station (1) frequency-shifts
the carrier signal and then modulates the carrier signal and multiplexes it to
the corresponding light wave according to the corresponding relationship,
and then sends the light wave to the corresponding remote antenna unit (2) by the
corresponding the optical fiber link.
